roving that they can do more than just throw a good party, the Dave & Ray Entertainment Group came together for DC youth this week, providing tons of school supplies to a local neighborhood after-school program. Before presenting the organization with the supplies, the group got the chance to tour the youth center’s facilities and hang out with kids from the program.

“I grew up with an after-school program similar to the one we worked with, and it just reminded me that it doesn’t take much to make these kids happy,” said Ray Hamilton, of the Dave & Ray Entertainment Group. “We’re glad we could spend time with them and provide something that made them smile.”

Giving back is one thing that the Dave & Ray Entertainment Group are committed to doing. In addition to their school supply community service project, the group has done a countless number of other service projects for DC youth and the less fortunate throughout the years. The group plans to continue their service efforts by establishing a scholarship fund for deserving teens for the 2010 Spring semester.
