This event, entitled BEING FABULOUS ROCKS! Childhood Cancer, was held in honor of September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and celebrated DC Fashion Week, was held at MOVA Lounge-DC. This event’s special guest was GIORGIO GUCCI, grandson of the founder of the iconic GUCCI Fashion House. The event boasted a meet and greet with Mr. Gucci, MOVA-DC signature cocktails, a silent action, a fashion showcase by up coming designer Nam Nguyen of the clothing line Nam by Design & ballroom couture designer Julie Wilson of www.EncoreBallroomCouture.com and a DC Fashion Week model showcase. A portion of the evening’s bar proceeds went to benefit the Cody Crew Foundation(www.codys-crew.org), a childhood cancer organization with the goal of eardicating childhood cancer.
