Sexy Lips are more achievable than you may think.

by Sophia

Whether you’re after a demure nude lip or striking crimson pout, nothing adds more drama to your outfit than a sexy lip. With plenty of prior care and preparation, such sexy lips are easier than ever to achieve. Getting the perfect pout for your next party should be a breeze with the following few tips for sexy lips.

1. Exfoliate

It’s important to create a smooth, even surface for lipstick to stick to. Lipstick won’t stick to dry or flaky skin. If applied to an uneven surface, lipstick has the tendency to clog or flake. Exfoliating is the key to ensuring a smooth surface for sexy lips. Using a soft baby toothbrush, gently ‘brush’ your lips to remove any dry, flaky skin.

2. Moisturise

Apply a moisturising cream to your lips. Unlike lip balm, a moisturising cream won’t act as a barrier to your lipstick. It’s also important to hydrate your body from the inside. You’ll no doubt have heard that drinking plenty of water is the key to dewy skin, and this also applies to your lips as well.

3. Protect

The skin on the lips is quite sensitive, so it’s important to protect them from the elements. Lips can suffer from sun exposure just as much as the rest of your body, so it’s important to protect them with SPF balm or cream. Also, in cold and harsh climates, prevent chapping by shielding lips from the wind or applying a balm.

4. Conceal

Before you add colour to your lips, dab concealer around the edge of your lips. This will help give lipstick a border and increase definition. It will also help prevent lipstick from seeping. If you’re applying a bright colour; even out your skin tone by applying concealer beforehand.

5. Line

Lip liner is one of those things that can be a bit confusing. While, we all dread the image of our lipstick rubbing off and being left with a dark ring around the edges of our lips, this can easily be avoided by using a liner that matches your natural lip colour. A long-lasting liner provides a better surface for lipstick to stick to and ultimately offering longer wear.

6. Apply

Sexy lips often mean full colour. For intense colour, apply lipstick straight from the tube. While application with a lip brush helps with precision, it can also diminish colour. If applying straight from the tube, start from the centre of the lip and blend to the outer edges.

7. Blot

After applying lipstick, place a tissue between your lips and gently press down. This will help ‘lock’ your lipstick in place. This will also help prevent smudges. For intense colour, apply and repeat the process.

8. Highlight

Create definition by applying highlighter to your Cupid’s bow (the dip at the centre of your top lip). A subtle cream or ivory colour should suffice. This step should help emphasise and make the most of your sexy lips.

If you’re after smooth and sexy lips, these tips should hopefully get you there. Nothing finishes off an outfit better than a polished pout. What are your best tips for party-ready, sexy lips?

Beauty Tips are so helpful, but they often revolve around expensive techniques and advice that ends up costing you money.

by Lyndsie

In this economy, that’s just not always practical – or even possible. Not everyone can get a weekly mani/pedi or a take advantage of a bi-weekly spa treatments. So, I’ve come up with a fabulous list of beauty tips that don’t cost much. In fact, some of them are completely free, but they’ll still help you look your most beautiful. Excited to know more? Then all you have to do is check out these smart and budget conscious beauty tips!

1. Beauty Sleep

Getting enough beauty sleep is one of those beauty tips no one takes very seriously. It’s tempting to believe that getting enough sleep doesn’t make a different. However, getting plenty of rest each night makes your skin more youthful, your eyes lighter and livelier, and gives you the energy you need to get through the day.

2. Do Your Own Mani/Pedi

Since getting my first professional mani/pedi over the summer, I can assure you that I’m a fan – but doing it regularly can get expensive. Doing your own manicures and pedicures will save so much money, and both are surprisingly easy. You just need the right tools, and they’ll end up paying for themselves.

3. Exercise

Advising exercise is one of the best beauty tips I can give you. Exercise doesn’t just help you lose weight and get toned, it’s also good for your energy, your skin, and your overall well being. And you don’t have to hit the gym to do it.

4. Drink Lots of Water

Water is important for your hair, nails, and skin. It keeps your whole body hydrated and healthy. If you can drink it out of the tap, so much the better. If not, you can get your own filter at home and save money that way, while drinking up to your heart’s content.

5. Do Your Own Steam Treatment

Speaking of water, you don’t need to go to the spa to get spa treatments. Boil up some water, pour it in a bowl, and just bend over it with your head covered by a towel. Instant steam treatment! Just don’t get too close, you don’t want to burn your nose. Even hot showers can open up your pours and release any toxins.

6. Rinse with Vinegar

You can also save money by not using conditioner all the time. Believe it or not, a table spoon of cider vinegar mixed with water will do the job. Let that be your last rinse in the shower; your hair will thank you!

7. Make Your Own Face Mask

I love DIY beauty tips, and this is one of my favorites! Making your own face mask is easy, especially since most of them use ingredients you already have in your house. There are choice for dry skin, oily skin, and combination skin. Ingredients like honey, bananas, yogurt, and cucumbers are commonly used, so you can make a mask when any of these items start getting too old to eat.

8. DIY Body Scrubs

This is a great tip to save money too, and it’s incredibly easy. All you need is a cup of sugar, a cup of olive oil, and about two tablespoons of honey. The only catch is that you should lather your skin before you get into the shower.

9. Make a Detangling Serum

I’ve got thick hair that’s really prone to tangles. Needless to say, I could spend a lot of money on detangling products – except that I make my own! All you need is ten parts water and one part conditioner, mixed together in a spray bottle. Shake it up, spray it on, and voila! Since there’s so much water, you don’t have to worry about the conditioner making your hair look greasy.

10. Smart Polish Moves

These are some of the smartest beauty tips I’ve ever found. First of all, to save on nail polish, add a little remover when it starts to get gunky. Secondly, you don’t have to buy expensive quick dry fingernail sprays. Instead, just spray some cooking spray onto your nails. Vegetable works best, and it works right away!

These are beauty tips for fashionistas who know the value of being frugal. I think every one of us can benefit from saving money. The good news is that, with these beauty tips, you don’t have to sacrifice your inner or outer beauty. You just have to make different choices. Do you have any other beauty tips that help save money?

Winter Beauty routines are important, because the colder temperatures can be disastrous to your skin, your pores, your hair, and so on.

by Lyndsie

Fortunately, there are a number of things you can do to make sure that your winter beauty blossom. By learning how to take care of your skin, what beauty regimens to follow, what to drink and eat, and so on, you won’t have to deal with dry hair and skin this season. So, check out some of the most vital wintertime beauty routines!

1. Serious Moisturizer

Moisturizer is the most important part of any winter beauty routine. You have to keep your skin moisturized at all times. It’s really important to keep your face moisturized, but you want to pay special attention to your arms, legs, knees, and elbows too; those are all areas that tend to dry out badly in colder weather. In addition, look for shampoos and conditioners that promise to hydrate and moisturize your hair.

2. Take a Speedy Shower

In the winter, the worst thing you can do is constantly take really long showers. Occasionally, it’s okay. Most of the time, however, you need to shower as quickly as possible. All that water actually leeches moisture out of your skin, so get in and out as fast as you can.

3. Fragrance Free

Products with a lot of fragrances are not good during winter, especially if you have sensitive skin. Fragrances can cause irritation, which will make your skin get even dryer. Don’t be fooled by products that claim to be “unscented,” either. Instead, when you’re putting together a winter beauty regimen, go for something that says it’s totally free of any fragrances. Again, if you have really sensitive skin, go light on the perfume while the temperatures are cold, as well.

4. Water, Water Everywhere

Since it’s so important to moisturize your skin, it stands to reason that it’s also vital to stay hydrated. Drink as much water as you can this winter! You should also try a humidifier. See, when you run the heat, it dries out your skin too. Drinking water and adding moisture to the air with a humidifier can help keep your skin soft and supple. You can even place a bowl filled with water in any room in your home that has any radiant heat. Voila, a DIY humidifier!

5. Find the Right Products

Your winter beauty routine depends on the right products. Considering the climate, you’ll want to stay away from facial cleansers that dry out your skin. Hair and facial masks that help hydrate are perfect. Anything that encourages frizz is bad. As mentioned, fragrances are a no-no, but soaps, body washes, and masks with oatmeal are awesome!

6. Be Nice to Your Nails

You need to think of your nails in the winter, too. They can get brittle, which can lead to lots of peeling and breaking. Using a balm of shea butter can help. You may also want to avoid a lot of polish, because it keeps your balm from working. However, if your nails are strong, polish is totally fine, so once you get the breakage under control, manicure to your heart’s content! You also need to take care of your cuticles, so invest in a cuticle pen or trimmer and some good oil.

7. The Eyes Have It

There are plenty of makeup tricks that make winter beauty easy, especially with your eyes. Smudging your eyeliner when you apply it is a great idea – the look is trendy, and you won’t have to worry about teary eyes from cold wind or inclement weather. After all, your liner is already smudged! Don’t be afraid to indulge in bright, bold eye shadow this winter either. Check out some of the season’s hottest colors and experiment!

8. Keep Your Lips Lush

This winter, lip balm and chap stick is a must. You can also invest in lipstick or gloss that has a built-in moisturizer. Exfoliating your lips this winter is a good idea as well – for DIY treatments, just use an old, soft bristled toothbrush or the corner of a barely damp wash cloth.

9. Happy Hair

Don’t forget your hair when putting together a winter beauty routine! Let it air dry as much as possible to avoid heat damage. Try to sleep on a silk pillowcase as well. It also won’t hurt to use a leave-in conditioner at least once a week, as well as a good quality hair mask.

Winter beauty is easy to attain and keep. Just because the air is dry and cold doesn’t mean you have to suffer. It’s hard – skin gets dry, it’s difficult to stay moisturized, your hair misbehaved, and chapped lips are common. By following these tips on winter beauty, though, your skin and lips will remain soft and supple, your hair will be manageable, and you’ll look gorgeous. What’s your winter beauty routine? Let us know what works best for you!

Fast Beauty Fixes-don’t we all need them from time to time?

by Air

Iwill just be truthful and say that I feel like I need fast beauty fixes every single day! Over the years, I’ve come to realize that what you might think to be the worst beauty-related emergency ever can often be solved simply and quickly. So I’ve decided to make a list of the best and most used fast beauty fixes based on my own personal findings! I’m sure you will discover that these fast beauty fixes will work as great for you as they do for me. Read on for amazing tips!

1. Tired eyes

There’s nothing I hate more than looking like I’m still asleep when I should be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed! Here’s one of the fast beauty fixes I learned years ago to remedy that problem. Use a white eyeliner to line the inner rims of your eyes! It brings out the whites of your eyes and makes you look more awake! Stay away from dark shadows on these days, they will only counter-effect the white eyeliner trick.

2. Lackluster Skin

One of my guaranteed fast beauty fixes is for lackluster skin. All you need is illuminating face primer. Just a drop will have your skin glowing and dewy all over! Follow with your regular foundation and powder.

3. Dull Face

Nothing says tired and droopy like a dull face. Cheer it up with a little bit of highlighter! In all the right places, highlighter will have an instant warming and pretty effect! Your cheekbones, brow bone, temples and the inner corners of your eye are the perfect spots to apply a light dusting of shimmery highlight. Don’t have any highlight on hand? Use a white or champagne eye shadow. Works every time!

4. Huge Zit

I utterly HATE waking up to a huge zit on my face! One of my most used fast beauty fixes over time for this one has become ice. Yes, you heard me right! Use ice on the pimple to reduce swelling and redness. DON’T PICK it or it will only get worse! Follow up with your favorite concealer and powder to set it.

5. Bad Breakouts

The one thing worse than a huge zit? A whole colony of them! For bad breakouts, my fast beauty fixes include witch hazel and green concealer. apply the witch hazel and let dry. Then dab on moderate amounts of green concealer. Green cancels out red, so you won’t have a huge red patch on your face. Follow with your regular concealer and set with powder.

6. Horrible Hair Day

On days that you just want to shave your head and go bald, there is something you can do! Out of my box of fast beauty fixes comes this tip: wear a hat! It’s the perfect time of year! Beanies, berets, tams-whatever your style go for it. If a hat is not an option, try a scarf. It will draw attention away from your hair-do, and give you something pretty and cheerful to admire!

7. Root Cover Up

I think we’ve all put off salon appointments from time to time until our roots were out of control! Here’s the best of the fast beauty fixes for those days. 1. Create a deep side part where roots are usually less noticeable. 2. Spray your hairline and part with colored dry shampoo. 3. Tease your hair until it’s very big, and the dark part of your hair will look more like a shadow.

8. Instant Pick-Me-Up

For days when you just feel “blah” and not very pretty, pull this card from the fast beauty fixes index. It’s called blush! Applying a rosy pink blush to the apples of your cheek will brighten up your whole face and warm up your skin. Try it and love it!

9. Flat Hair

Flat hair has GOT to be my biggest beauty per peeve. I can’t stand it! Here’s my favorite of the fast beauty fixes for those days: Dry shampoo! It will give you an instant root lift. You can also try switching your part to the opposite side for instant volume.

10. Chipped Nails

What’s worse than looking down and realizing you have horribly chipped nails and less than two minutes before walking out the door? NOTHING! Here’s what I do: Keep a stash of instant press-on nails in darker colors. In 60-90 seconds, no one will ever know! Dark colors are the best because they are versatile, and if you are wearing, say, red polish, it will show up underneath a french mani or anything light.

These 10 fast beauty fixes are guaranteed to make sure an issue with your skin, hair, or face doesn’t ruin your day! Now, keep in mind that all of these fast beauty fixes are only temporary, so they won’t last forever. You need to make sure that you keep up with regular salon/dermatologist appointments in order to make sure that your skin and hair and nails stay gorgeous all the time. But for days when you just don’t have time, these fast beauty fixes will get you through the day and no one will be any the wiser!

If you are anything like me, then you love to have beautiful pouty lips and these 8 must have lip-colors are just the thing you need. A little lipstick or gloss can make your lips look fuller, softer, and much more luscious. Any of these 8 must have lip-colors will have you looking completely kissable in absolutely no time.

1. Raging Red

Red lip-colors will make you drop dead gorgeous. The key is to tone down the rest your makeup, including your eyes, to draw the focus to your scarlet red lips. Try a few shades and decide what works best for you.

2. Berricilous

Berry colors are a red color with a hint of pink. The softer red looks good on most all skin tones, so you are sure to find a color to complement your complexion and give you a warm glow. If you feel daring, go with something that has purple undertones.

3. Orange

I know what you are thinking, “No way can I wear orange lip-color!” Please give it a try first. The trick is to chose a matte shade, not something with a shimmer, to keep the color from looking loud. Follow up with soft peach blush and natural looking eye makeup.

4. Totally Nude

There is something so unbelievably sexy about a soft nude lip. Choose a color that is only a shade or two darker than your natural lip. Don’t go too glossy with it, though. The point is to keep the lip shade as natural as possible.

5. Plum Pouts

Plum is a sophisticated lip-color to make your lips look glamorous. It works best on cooler skin tones, because of the blue undertones. Try a few different shades to see which one works best for you.

6. Just Peachy

Peach lips are fun and spunky. This shade goes well with soft sun-kissed skin. If your summer tan has started to fade, touch up with some bronzer and add a little golden eye shadow to your lids. The point is to pair peach lips with a simple look.

7. Marvelous Mauve

Mauve lip-colors look great if you have a warm skin tone. It’s a versatile color that you can play up with a little gloss for a night out or keep normal for a day in the office. The color is soft enough you can go heavier with your eye makeup, but strong enough it can put your sultry pout on display.

8. Pretty Pink

What girl doesn’t want to like sassy in a little pink lip-color? Add an unexpected kick to your look with a hot pink shade or go for a soft dewy look with a softer pink. Pink looks good on any skin tone. Try one dark and lighter shades to find the one that works best for you.

There are so many lovely lip-colors out there for you to try! Experimenting with new lip-colors is lots of fun, because you can also change the rest of your makeup palette. I can’t wait to hear how these 8 must have lip-colors worked out for you. Which ones did you love, did they help you create a new look?

Whether it’s for a blind date, your big day, going out with some friends, or even just wearing it to go to school or work, every woman in some time in her life will wear makeup, but sometimes it can be too time consuming to deal with.

by Hdiana

Guest blogger Karien from Beauty Ramp is here today to share with us 10 Top Tips for Applying Quick Makeup for those days when you are running out the door but would still would like to look your best…

Top 10 Tips To Get A Quick Makeup: When you have no time to look presentable!

Make up is essential for women who want to look well groomed and elegant. However, sometimes it becomes difficult to spend much time on make up because of time constraint. When you need to look presentable in a short space of time, just before an appointment there are a few simple tricks to follow so that you look radiant. Here are a few simple tricks when you are rushed for time and still need to look presentable.

1. Get clean skin quick…

Lightly mist your face with water and dab gently with cotton or tissue any traces of oil to refresh make up. After this, dab on some loose powder for a fresh look.

2. Lighten locks instantly…

To give a new bounce of life to your hair which may be greasy and lifeless, sprinkle translucent powder on the hair roots and brush through thoroughly. This will instantly add the healthy lustrous look back to your hair when you have no time to wash.

3. Hydrate your skin in half the time…

Moisturize your body and hair at one go with conditioner by massaging while you shower. Simply rinse and dry off. This is more effective than waiting for body lotion to hydrate into the skin. You can also get an instant toned look by mixing liquid bronzer with body lotion which temporarily tightens up your skin.
4. Perfect your complexion…

Use a yellow based cover up to camouflage any pimples and redness. Use a concealer brush to apply and blend in the edges with your finger.

5. Go for contrasting lids and tips…

Let the colors used in the lids and nails contrast for that elegant look. If you want to simply have natural nails, then rub in lemon juice and massage with a thick cream into the cuticles for a healthy look.

6. Use pink to fake perfect skin…

If you have no time for concealers and foundations, then just apply pink to your lips. This color detracts the attention away from the blemishes on the face.

7. De-puff your do in a flash…

Dampen your hands with water and some lotion to run it gently through your frizzy hair. Slick back your hair into a French knot and leave for 10 minutes before untying it. The frizz is temporarily kept in check by a sleek look.

8. Score evening eyes in just one step…

Apply eyeliner as it is the quickest method of looking sexy and lively. Stroke on some mascara in layers for that smouldering look.

9. Pull it back with a ponytail…

You really have no time for a fussy hairdo so you resort to the age old quick style. Tie up your hair in a ponytail and spray some hairspray to hold in place. Take a strand of hair and wrap around the hairband and secure with a pin to create a carefully done up look.

10. Sweeten up your cheeks…

Finally, if you want to create the illusion of a well made up face, stroke on deep berry powder blush on the cheeks. Brush on blusher on the apple of your cheeks and sweep back towards the hairline in an upward stroke. Blend in gently and radiate.

Things Women Do for Beauty run the gamut from the sublime to the ridiculous, and some of them are a little embarrassing.

by Lyndsie

By that I don’t mean that they’re necessarily embarrassing to do (although some of them are!), I mean that there are some things that women do – myself included, trust me – but we don’t really want to talk about them. I mean, there are things women do for beauty that we just don’t want anyone to talk about – but many of us do them, all the same. That’s what this post is about: standing up in solidarity for all those embarrassing, down-low things women do for beauty. Stand up and be proud! Or at least be comforted by the fact that you’re not alone!

1. Shaving in Other Places

This is one of the things women do for beauty that they don’t normally want to talk about … myself included. You shave your legs, sure, and under your arms, and those other all important areas. For some of us, though, there are still under places – like the knuckles on your fingers and the tops of your toes. Some women shave their arms, some shave their eyebrows (not just the unibrows, either!), and still others eschew waxing or depilatory creams and touch up the hair on their face. And that’s okay!

2. Using Vaseline for Everything

I don’t know about you, but I use Vaseline for more things than I’d ever admit to. It can make your lips and eyelids shine, it cures ashy elbows and calloused feet, it can lend some moisture and shine to your hair if you need it, and it can be used as a shaving aid in delicate places. If, that is, you don’t mind completely destroying your razor!

3. Preparation H for Under Eye Circles

This is actually one of the most well known things women do for beauty, but who really wants to admit to it? It’s kind of embarrassing to buy, just because you always suspect the checkout folks are looking at you and wondering whether it’s for puffy eyes or, you know, hemorrhoids. But whatever, they don’t get paid to ask questions!

4. Keeping Incredibly Old Makeup

I am so guilty of this, and I know it’s bad. I mean, it’s unhealthy, it’s messy, and it’s really embarrassing when someone else sees my year old eye shadow pots or something. Still, I can never find time to clean out my makeup kit, and I’m one of those girls who likes to use sometime until I can’t possibly anymore. Except mascara. Do not ever hang onto old mascara!

5. Making Do with Freebies and Samples

I’m guilty of this, too! Give me a sample of perfume, lipstick, concealer, or anything like that, and it gets thrown into the bottomless kit of doom. I’ll incorporate it into my makeup look and then make up some story about where I “bought” the stuff when someone compliments it, just so I don’t sound like a huge cheapskate!

6. Borrowing Clothes from the Boys

This is another of the well known things women do for beauty – or comfort, at least. I buy all kinds of boys’ clothes. If they have cool shoes for the guys, I’m all over it, size 5 if you please. I have shirts, ties, and boxers because oh man, I love walking around in boxers when it’s warm. They’re my favorite kind of PJs!

7. What Expiration Date?

If there’s an expiration date, either stated or understood, or my makeup, my facial scrub, masks, shampoo, or anything like that, I totally ignore it. I think lots of girls do. Who even thinks to pay attention to that stuff? But ask me and I’ll tell you I replace all of it in a timely manner like you’re supposed to.

8. Using Your Teeth as a Cuticle Trimmer

I stopped biting my nails after doing it for honestly about 20 years … but I still use my teeth as makeshift manicure tools. Sometimes that hangnail or torn cuticle is so annoying, you just don’t have time to find your cuticle trimmer. There are plenty of painful things women do for beauty, but this is one of the most painful, especially when you actually nibble too much. Ouch!

9. Hiding Dirty Hair in Fun Ways

Every woman has one of those days where she just doesn’t feel like washing her hair. I do it, you do it, everyone does it! So you pop on a cute hat, throw your hair up in a purposely messy ponytail or bun, braid it, pin it, throw a scarf over it – something! All so it looks like you just spent a ton of time to look totally glamorous, and really it’s just because you actually didn’t feel like doing anything to it!

There are lots of things women do for beauty that they don’t really want to discuss out in the open. You don’t talk about them out in the open, but you do them and you strongly suspect other women do them, too. Just because there are certain things women do for beauty that don’t seem conventional doesn’t mean you have to be embarrassed by them at all. Don’t be afraid of the Vaseline, the Preparation H, or the shaving cream! Are there any other things women do for beauty that you think they don’t like to talk about?

Home Acne Treatments not only work well, but they save money.

by Melissa

They can also be less abrasive than marketed cleansers. Let’s be real, fighting acne is a pain, but these 7 homemade acne cleansers are safe for your skin, easy on the wallet, and just overall awesome. The good thing about home acne treatments is they often use natural products instead of harsh chemicals found in over-the-counter or prescription acne treatments, making them ideal for sensitive skin. So, if you want to learn to make your own home acne treatments, keep reading!

1. Olive Oil

I know it seems crazy to put oil on your already oily acne prone skin. Olive oil has been used for many years as a cleanser and works wonders as home acne treatment. For best results pour a small amount of olive oil onto your hands and massage deeply into the skin. Allow the oil to sit for at least 3 minutes, then place a steamy towel over the face. The steam will help pull impurities out of your pores. After the towel cools use it to wipe away the remaining oil.

2. Castor Oil

Castor oil works the same way as olive oil for a home acne cleanser. The reason why these oils work as facial cleansers is because skin naturally contains oil. Many of the cleanser we buy are branded as “oil-free.” Water doesn’t dissolve oil, oil dissolves oil. When the oils from the skin are removed, the body creates even more oil creating oily skin, or it may react by not creating any oil and thus leaving your skin dry. It makes sense to use oil to help gently remove the dirt and oil from your face to help clear acne.

3. Baking Soda

Baking soda works two ways as an at home acne treatment. First it exfoliates the skin by buffing away dead skin and opening up clogged pores. Another way is the alkaline substance of baking soda kills off bacteria in the skin that causes acne. To use baking soda, wet your face and then create a paste with baking soda and water in your hand. Massage the paste into your face gently for one minute. Finish by rinsing with cool water and patting dry.

4. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is not only good for your body, it does wonders for you skin too. Oatmeal is naturally high in vitamins which makes it perfect to reduce redness and inflammation caused by acne. Create your own at acne treatment by soaking ½ a cup of oatmeal in 1 cup of boiling water. After the oatmeal mixture has cooled, apply it to your face and gently massage the skin. After one to two minutes rinse off the oatmeal.

5. Honey

Honey is another terrific at home acne treatment. Honey contains antibacterial properties and can help hydrate the skin. You can create a simple honey mask just by massaging natural honey into the skin and allowing it to sit for 15 to 30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. One way to enjoy this mask is to apply it before soaking in a warm bath after a long day at work for a little rest and relaxation.

6. Steaming

Steam opens the pores and allows the impurities to escape. Boil a pot of water and then let it cool for a few minutes. Hang your face over the cooled pot of water with a towel draped over your head to trap the steam in. After 10 minutes you can remove the towel and dry the steam off your face.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar has been used as an at home cure for many different things over the years. Because apple cider vinegar is unprocessed and contains many natural properties it works wonders as an at home acne treatment. To use, mix one part apple cider vinegar with 3 parts water. Dab the mixture onto the face with a cotton ball.

Using home acne treatments is so much better for your skin. And as you can see, there are many ways to treat acne naturally at home. Let me know if you tried any of these 7 home acne treatments. Also, do you have recipes for any other home acne treatments you’d like to share?
