The 30-year-old “Spotlight” singer shined in a sheer blue polka-dot blouse with black skinny jeans and flats while opening up to Robin Roberts about teaming up with Pampers to record a lullaby she gets to sing to her son, David Jr., every night.
“I got to record like my own special rendition of the classic lullaby,” Miss Hudson explained, adding, “It’s like a mommy thing that I wanted to, you know, have for my baby and to share with other mothers through Pampers.”
During her time recording the song, the 30-year-old noted, “That’s the most memorable thing is that you have as a mom and as a child to be able to have that moment when you’re putting your baby to sleep at night and you sing them a sweet little lullaby,” hitching her voice with excitement, “I got to recreate that I’m so excited about it”.
When asked if her two-year-old son has a case of “terrible two’s”, Jennifer replied, “He’s such a good little boy I can’t call him my baby anymore but he’s really good and he behaves really well so I can’t complain. It’s supposed to be terrible but it’s not that bad.”
The “American Idol” alum also has another exciting project to look forward to after announcing that she’s landed a multi-episode gig on NBC’s “Smash” starting with the second-season premiere, of which she tweeted to her fans last Friday (June 22), “So excited to be doing @NBCSmash TV series. Going to be super fun! Great show!”
