
The 25-year-old singer talked to Z100’s Elvis Duran backstage before hitting the show and told him that she and her alter ego Jo Calderone are not on speaking terms.
“Who does he think he is going on national television and speaking about my personal life like that? He’s a sucker,” Gaga said, referring to Jo’s performance at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
Gaga performed many of her hits during her set including “Bad Romance,” “You and I,” “Judas,” “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “Lovegame,” “Paparazzi,” “Alejandro,” and “Scheibe.” She also dedicated a performance of “Hair” to 14-year-old Jamey Rodemeyer, who ended his life earlier in the week after being bullied.
The evening ended with an appearance by Sting, who dueted with Gaga on “Stand By Me” and “King of Pain.”
