The 24-year-old actor was spotted taking a cancer stick break in between filming scenes at DAR Constitution Hall.
Shia was last seen working on the film with co-star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Detroit, Michigan.
His next role? Possibly starring in the upcoming comedy-drama College Republicans.
Shia has shown interest in playing a young Karl Rove as he vies for the position of chief college conservative with the help of his campaign manager, Lee Atwater.
