The final event, held at Le Maison Francaise (The Embassy of France) on Sunday, 25 September 2011 featured an impressive showcase of premiere international couture fashions, including PUA by Zarmina Said, and DC Fashion Week Executive Director Ean Williams.

Designers Aidah Collection, Elizabeth St John (a local designer), Kelly Tang, and Natalia Sanz presented their eco-friendly garments to a warm reception at the Perkins and Will building. The stylish guests, including Paul Wharton, owner of Evolution Look Modeling Agency, and America’s Next Top Models Bianca Chardei, took front row seats to sample the innovative environmentally conscious designs. D.C. Fashion Week brings some of the most talented designers on the planet to the nation’s capital. The week of events will introduce audiences to spring and summer 2012 collections. One of the highlights of this week’s events will be the Fashion Industry Networking Party held at Dirty Bar at 6pm Thursday, September 22nd. Washington DC lifestyle bloggers, stylists, models, designers, and media, will come together to mingle and network. DC Fashion week continues through September 25th.

It’s that time of year again; Spring/Summer DC Fashion Week and we were there to capture the rehearsal/fitting for the final selected models.

This upcoming 2011 extravaganza – scheduled from Monday, September 19 to Sunday, September 25, 2011 – will see designers gather from around the world to exhibit their Spring/Summer 2012 collections.
