The rooftop at Air Lounge D.C. was filled with local celebrities and entrepreneurs as Premila Raj launched her company, The Kind Tees On Saturday, Dec. 3.
Raj and her company are on a mission to heal the world through uplifting language and charitable practices. A portion of the company’s profits are donated to children in Africa who are in need of essential resources such as food and clothing.
Local celebrities including; Fox News reporter, Wisdom Martin, cast member of Love and Marriage D.C., Erana Tyler, celebrity publicist, Tatiana Moton, Miss D. c. Teen USA 2020, Sydney Jackson, and former Ravens player, Mike McAdoo, along with over 50 other family and friends of Raj were in attendance wearing their Kind Tee merchandise.
Horderves we’re served throughout the event as well as cocktails and hookahs provided by Air Lounge staff and Mcadoo.
D.J. Gifted Son provided the music and set the tone for the fun-filled event. He also allowed the crowd to pass around a microphone and promote their businesses throughout the event.
The event concluded with with a raffle full of upscale prizes, including; candles and fragrances from Real Housewives of Potomac star, Karen Huger’s Grand Dame Collection, signed copies of Wisdom Martin’s book, Pass Interference: History of the Black Quarterback in the NFL, and many other prizes from local entrepreneurs.
Though the event began at 6pm, the party went well into the night as t-shirts flew off the tables and into shopping bags while the guests celebrated Raj’s new career venture.
