The countdown to DC Fashion Week Cycle 45 is officially underway.
On Sunday, September 13, 2026, models, designers, and members of the DC Fashion Week team gathered at the DoubleTree Hotel in Arlington, Virginia, for the official rehearsal and fitting ahead of this season’s highly anticipated runway shows.
The rehearsal and fitting was organized and led by Ean Williams, Founder and Executive Director of DC Fashion Week, as part of the final preparations leading into show week.
Throughout the day, models had the opportunity to refine their runway walks, learn show expectations, and prepare for the pace and presentation of the upcoming events. Designers worked directly with models during fittings, making selections and adjustments to ensure each look is ready when it hits the runway.
Behind every fashion show is an incredible amount of preparation. From coordinating models and designers to fittings, rehearsals, production, and final details, the September 13 gathering offered a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into bringing DC Fashion Week to life.
The rehearsal also brought together established and emerging talent, creating an atmosphere of creativity, collaboration, and anticipation as everyone prepares for the main event.
With rehearsal and fittings complete, the countdown is on.
DC Fashion Week Cycle 45 takes place September 25–27, 2026, bringing designers, models, fashion professionals, creatives, and fashion enthusiasts together for a weekend celebrating fashion, creativity, and style in the nation’s capital.
