7. Make Sure They Are Worth it
It is important to first make sure the individual that is showing an interest in you is worth it. The object here is to go with someone you will like and not someone you are just going to let down. I know that this can be hard at times, but make sure you first at least have an interest in them, then play a game of hard to get. Sure, leading someone on that you are interested in could be fun, but you don’t want to lead someone on if you are not interested in them.

6. Phone Number
The first time the individual asks for your phone number, don’t give it to them. Make them ask for that phone number at least two or three times before you finally give it to them. When they do call, you will decide when you want to answer the phone and when you want to return their calls. Remember, it wouldn’t be a game of hard to get if you gave your phone number up right away.

5. Keep a Balance
Of course, you should keep a little ray of hope in there for the individual you are playing hard to get with. If you go to far with this game, the individual may view you as impossible and move on to someone else. So, remember to keep that balance and don’t take it too far.

4. Date Night
When they offer a date night, tell them you are busy that night. When they give it a second try, tell them that you will be busy during that time as well. When they come to you with a third night in mind, you may take it.

3. Be Accessible
Yes, you should be accessible during this “game,” but you should still be “out of reach” if you know what I mean.
