7 Ways to Prevent Rape1 comment

I was reading a news article the other day and I read that they have condoms that a girl can use.
| by Melanie |

These condoms have teeth on them that clamps on the guy when he goes in. In order to remove it from the guy, he will have to go to the doctor. I can’t remember what country this was in, but it sounded pretty neat – you know, then you won’t be raped! Below, I am going to give you 7 ways to prevent rape.

7. Don’t Drink Something Someone Gave You

I have never taken any type of drink that someone gave me. Ask my husband, even when I went to his house, I didn’t take drink from him. I didn’t exactly know him back then and I know you should never let your guard down. So, as a general rule, do not drink it, unless you opened it.

6. Go on Group Dates

How about going on a date with a group of friends? You should do this, especially if you do not know the guy you are dating very well.

5. You Have a Voice, So Use it

Men believe that “no” really means yes, because some women will say “no” when they really mean yes. However, a firm “NO!” really does mean “NO!” So, when you say no, make sure you use your voice and do it loudly – not softly and quietly.

4. Always Be Aware of Your Surroundings

No matter what, you should always be aware of your surroundings. Is there a strange guy that has been following you through the store? Don’t leave the store until he does. You may also tell an employee about it and have them walk to your car. It is better to be safe than to be sorry.

3. Have some Pepper Spray

Did you know that you can have pepper spray? This will come in handy if a guy is trying to take advantage of you. Keep the pepper spray so that you can easily get to it, you never know when you are going to need it.

2. Never Say Never

You should never think that you are an exception to the rule. Never think that a guy is not going to go after you. There are horrible people out there that do bad things to anyone, whenever they get that chance, so never say never.

1. Your Hairstyle

Did you know that certain hairstyles can benefit an attacker? I don’t wear my hair in a pony tail when going out. Why? Because a pony tail is the number one style that can benefit an attacker. This is because they are easy to grab.

BONUS: Do Not Use Alcohol or Drugs. A lot of the rape victims report that they were under the influence of alcohol.
Rape is not something to mess around with. It’s even more emotional when you only want to be with one person in your life or if they take your virginity. Can you think of any other ways to avoid being raped? I know, we shouldn’t have to worry about it – but we have to put the fashion to the side for a second and talk about it …

Wow! This is a great post. I am a female. I am working late hours at night, but I also had the common sense to ensure that I am as safe as possible by actions. Every time I go out. I made sure I had with me my pepper spray or cell phone. I used them to protect me from danger outside. My cell phone has a panic button alert that when I encounter danger outside or need an immediate help, I will just press it and my trusted friends, family members and the nearest 911 will be notified. I haven’t been this confident in going outside alone until I have this cell phone-based protection from SafeTREC. If you want to check out, you will find out other features that are designed to help you stay away from danger. This is their site http://SafeTREC.com/
