It’s always nice to learn about natural beauty tips because they’re easy to use and so much better for us than using commercial beauty products with unknown ingredients and chemicals.

Even if we don’t always use natural beauty products in our beauty routine, we can treat our skin to some natural beauty tips that will nourish and nurture your skin!

1. Aloe And Coconut Oil for Dry Skin

Natural beauty tips are not only good for us, they’re pretty easy on our wallets, also! Take this beauty tip for example: using aloe vera and coconut oil to soothe dry skin is cost effective, super easy and all-natural! If you experience dry skin, try mixing or blending the gel from an aloe vera leaf with a couple tablespoons of coconut oil and apply it to your skin!

2. Oatmeal Face Wash

If you want to be a natural beauty, try using this simple and soothing face wash that’s appropriate for just about all skin types! Grab some uncooked oatmeal, mix about a handful of oatmeal with some warm water and use it to wash your face. It might be a little awkward to use but oatmeal has wonderful benefits for skin, such as reducing redness, protecting skin from UV damage and calming dry, itchy skin.

3. Kiwi Exfoliator

This next beauty tip is about as natural as they get! Take a kiwi and mash it up to use it as an easy and effective facial exfoliator. If you don’t have any kiwis around, you can also use a banana, pineapple, peach or papaya to mash up and mix with a couple tablespoons of yogurt. This exfoliator is best suited for normal skin but make sure you don’t have any allergies to the ingredients as well!

4. Aloe Makeup Setting Spray

Another way to show your natural beauty is to use an all-natural setting spray for your makeup. All you need is some filtered water and some glycerin or aloe vera juice! Grab a small spray bottle that sprays a fine mist and mix three parts of the filtered water to one part of the aloe vera juice or glycerin. Give yourself a couple of spritzes after you apply makeup and you’re set! Be sure to keep it in the fridge so it keeps longer!

5. Coconut Oil Heat Protectant

If you have some unruly hairs like me, you’ll love this simple and cheap beauty tip! Use a small dab of coconut oil to tame broken hairs, add sheen to your hair and use it as a heat protectant. It has been noted that the women of Fiji often used coconut oil to protect their hair from damaging UV rays and many women also use it to create a protective barrier from heat tools and your hair! Make sure your heat tool isn’t turned up too high when you use this as a heat protectant!

6. Lemon Water Skin Drink

I’ve always liked to have a little lemon with my water because I love how fresh it tastes. Little did I know that adding lemon juice to your water has great skin benefits! Add some lemon juice to warm water to give your body a powerful boost of vitamin C, which will help purge toxins and also help keep your skin clear of blemishes!

7. Olive Oil And Honey Hair Mask

I know there are tons of homemade hair mask recipes out there, but this one has got to be one of the easiest and you’ll likely always have the ingredients on hand when you need it! Mix a tablespoon of honey with three tablespoons of olive oil in a small, microwaveable bowl. Stick it in the microwave in thirty second increments until it’s all warmed and apply it to your hair for a half hour, rinse and shampoo!

8. Orange Exfoliator

This next natural beauty tip is a great way to prep our limbs for the upcoming season! Cut an orange in half and use it to rub on your elbows and knees to exfoliate dry, dead skin cells and smooth your skin! The acid in the orange will not only get rid of dead skin but it’ll also help lighten up dark elbows and knees, so you’ll be ready to rock those shorts and tanks in no time!

9. A Carrot a Day Keeps Blemishes Away

This last tip on natural beauty might sound quite weird. In fact, I’d never heard of this little tip before, but after some research it turns out that eating carrots is a dynamite food for skin! Eating carrots gives your body a big dose of vitamin A, beta-carotene and antioxidants that help with anti-aging and help prevent acne!

I hope you use some of the natural beauty tips and enjoy the wonderful benefits of using natural skin care products that you can make yourself! All of these natural beauty tips can be used anytime you want to swap out some of the traditional beauty products and just take it back to the basics! Do you make any of your own natural beauty products?
