Exclusive Photos: DC Fashion Week Model Auditions Set the Stage for Fall/Winter 2026
On Sunday, January 4, 2026, aspiring models from across the DMV gathered at the DoubleTree Hotel for the official model audition for DC Fashion Week. The audition served as an important step toward the upcoming Fall/Winter 2026 showcases, scheduled for February 20–22, 2026.
The audition was led by Ean Williams, Executive Director and Founder of DC Fashion Week. Designers participating in the upcoming season were also in attendance, observing the auditions and selecting models they intend to feature in their new Autumn/Winter collections.
Models were evaluated on their runway walk, confidence, presence, and overall versatility, creating a focused and professional environment throughout the day. The turnout reflected the continued demand and excitement surrounding DC Fashion Week as a platform for emerging and established runway talent.
With the runway season approaching, anticipation continues to build for the Fall/Winter 2026 shows. We can’t wait to see how the selected models and designers bring their visions to life on the runway this February. Stay tuned.
