Burberry debuts the ‘Scarf Bar’ and enlarges trench collection

Burberry introduces its new Scarf Bar to celebrate the British luxury fashion house’s cashmere scarves. With the global launch and debut of this online and in-store personalization service, clients and fans will be able to design their own unique scarf.

Every standalone Burberry store will boast of a Scarf Bar where shoppers can raise a toast to their uber-personal creations. With the help of the Scarf Bar experts, clients can choose from over 30 different colors as well as check and print combinations. The final personal touch can be added in form of a unique three-letter monogram for an additional price of $75.

While the Classic collection of warm and soft signature cashmere starts from $475, the Lightweight range offers fine and breathable cashmere for $795.

From raw cashmere to the finished design the iconic Burberry cashmere scarves are made in Scotland at two distinguished mills by expert craftsmen. Using 30 different steps, the scarf is woven on traditional looms. The fabric is washed in local spring water and carefully brushed with teasels for a super-soft finish. All artwork is created in their London-based design studio.
