“It picks up about five seconds in an overlap (with Season 1). Literally, you see them driving away from the CDC,” executive producer Frank Darabont said about the second season during a Comic-Con panel. “None of that six-month-later stuff.”
The Walking Dead comic book author Robert Kirkman said that the series will eventually catch up with the comics!
“The plan is to get there, but it’s something we can’t rush,” he said.
