Nicole Kidman introduces the keynote speaker at The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards at Skylight Studio on Monday (November 16) in New York City.

| by Linda J. | Nov. 09 |

The 42-year-old actress covers the latest issue of Ladies Home Journal and shared about her life in the spotlight. “I was running from my life, in a way,” she said of making 17 movies between 2001 and 2008. “My imaginary life was better than my flesh-and-blood life. That’s a sad thing to say, but it was. Now I love my real life so much it requires an enormous belief in a film to want to take it on.”

The ideal outfit. It’s elusive and often hard to find. But shopping shouldn’t be that way. You should be able to go to the store and actually find pieces to take home because they were all “so you.”

Not only does it feel really good, but it makes shopping a lot less difficult and a lot more pleasurable. Well, we’ve found the mother load: 4NX¢.

| by Lucy Coutinho | Shy M. |

Constantly being approached by photographers, Ndiaye wasn’t always open to the idea of modeling but after a few photo shoots, he decided to give it a shot. His career has since taken flight as Cherif is signed with both L.A. Models based in California, and Major Model Management in N.Y.C.

According to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos, Eddie will be in the house to cheer on Bria, who will appear with the Top Model finalists in the show. What’s Your Handbag Alternative?

Sad but true: I haven’t carried a proper handbag since fashion week.
| by Jenny Feldman |

I always make an effort during the shows because I don’t want to be that girl schlepping the huge, bottomless, dirty tote bag spilling out with receipts, random shoes and pacifiers (hello, I’m a mom!). But the truth is, I am that girl and not the girl with the quilted Chanel. Okay, I have a quilted Chanel too—and lots of other nice bags—but they fit only about .2 % of my life. So, usually, I go to work with a ginormo canvas tote; on a bad day, I’ve got two of ’em.

Scarf Chic

The scarf has been a classic fashion accessory for decades, donned by style icons like Jackie Onassis and Nina Simone. But for me, it all started with the infamous Nicole Richie. Sexy skinny jeans, super-sized sunglasses and stylish scarves screamed swank, yet simple, to me. I just love the style. And a lot of others do as well.

Scarves can be found everywhere and on everyone these days, and not just for warmth (for those of you who thought scarves only kept away the cold), but for fashion. You can always see celebrities on your favorite blog rocking a scarf or at least see every other person walking down the street with one on.
